About Shoot the Breeze

Marissa Baecker is the eye behind the lens of Shoot the Breeze. The name Shoot the Breeze is more descriptive of the photographer than the photography.

As an accomplished professional hockey and live music photographer, Marissa began contributing to Getty Images in 2005. Her images have been published around the world in print and online with various newspapers and magazines and in 2010 she added Sports Illustrated and Rolling Stone to her list of editorial accolades.

Marissa believes in fostering long term relationships with her clients. Whether it is a corporate head shot, a wedding, a golf tournament, the family photo or the birth of a grandchild, Marissa gets to know her clients and takes image creation personally. She has a remarkable memory for people, places and events as seen through the lens.

An image creation fee is $150.00 for one hour. Not all images can be captured in this short amount of time so a half day (3 hour creation) rate is $500 and full day (6 hour creation) is $1000 (not including tax). Images are placed online in locked galleries for clients to view and order.

Print prices are as follows (excluding HST):

5 x 7 = $15.00

8 x 10 = $25.00

8 x 12 = $35.00

11 x 14 = $55.00

12 x 18 = $75.00

16 x 20 = $125.00
